What this covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Dinkville collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our websites, player profiles, game coordination tools, and text messaging experience.

Information we collect

  • Account information, including your name, phone number, email address, and sign-in records.
  • Player information you choose to save, such as sports, skill links, neighborhoods, favorite courts, usual times, and playing preferences.
  • Crew and game information, including invitations, availability, confirmed rosters, messages sent to Dinkville, and consent history.
  • Technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Dinkville.

How we use information

We use information to create and protect your account, maintain your My Dinkville profile, coordinate invitations and games, send requested account and game messages, start confirmed-player game chats, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

Mobile information

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We will not share your SMS opt-in or consent status with third parties for purposes unrelated to providing the Dinkville messaging service.

We may share mobile information and consent status with service providers, phone companies, and other vendors only as needed to deliver, secure, and support Dinkville messages.

Confirmed game chats

When you opt into Dinkville game texts and join a locked game, Dinkville may create a group text containing the confirmed players and the Dinkville number. Group texting makes each participant’s phone number visible to the other people in that game. We disclose this before you turn on ongoing texts.

Other sharing

We share information with infrastructure, communications, mapping, analytics, security, and support providers that help operate Dinkville. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Dinkville, preserve game and consent history, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can update your profile and notification preferences in My Dinkville. Reply STOP to stop ongoing Dinkville texts and START to turn them back on. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
